Hello internet! I’m Mimi, the one who runs this website. Let me share more about myself with you. As you know, I am passionate about turning food into cute dishes.

Did you know that from the start, I never thought that food could be turned into such beautiful art until my sister shared her Totoro Chinese steamed buns with us. My sister loves baking, and she is a traditional buns and dessert seller. She knows mostly everything about traditional Chinese pastry because she keeps enhancing her knowledge through taking some pastry courses and self-learning. In that moment when I saw the Totoro buns, it truly melted my heart! I can’t believe a simple normal white dough could turn into such cute buns.

So on that day, my passion for cute buns began. From the start, it was not easy because you really need to know how to control the proofing temperature and time. My first buns were really not perfect at all, and I kept not giving up and kept self-learning until I could make them well and cute.

My first kid was my first tester for toddlers. When she was small, I made lots of buns for her, and she loved them so much. No worries because the buns that I made were preservative and addictive-free. When I mastered it well, I started to sell my buns on social media, and everyone loved them, especially mothers. Most mothers want to give something healthy to their kids, right?

After that, I started to fall in love with teaching, so I began to share my bun recipes on YouTube and other social media. Sooner or later, I created more foods into cute versions, not just only steamed buns. All the foods on this earth with a little touch of effort can really turn into art.

Every woman, I believe, likes to become beautiful and is interested in beautiful stuff—I’m a woman too. So, I started to learn and explore the beauty industry.
